Learning Objectives:Students will know that America has always been made up of immigrants and their descendants from many different countries and cultures around the world.Students will understand that immigrants choose to undertake the often difficult immigration process for various reasons (push-pull factors) and that the immigrant experience has often entailed significant challenges.Students will be able to explain the differences and similarities of the experiences of 1800s-1900s immigrant children with children in America today.
