Students are introduced to the seesaw, a metaphor for how the actions of everyday people can tip the seesaw towards positive change on social issues. They compete in small groups to create the most effective campaign to tackle food waste, using a provided rubric for guidance. Students are encouraged to create and support other positive social advocacy campaigns.
